Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum Announces Finalists for 2001 OEF Entrepreneurship Awards
PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 19, 2001--
15 companies and individuals from throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington to be honored for their entrepreneurial spirit and successes
The Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum (OEF) today announced the list of 15 finalists for the 2001 OEF Entrepreneurship Awards, which will be given out at the Oregon Convention Center on September 5, 2001.
Finalists for the five annual entrepreneurship awards that OEF gives were chosen from 72 companies and individuals that were nominated for the 2001 awards. The judging committee, chaired by Pamela Jones of Jones and Jones, a Portland-area high-tech search and recruiting firm, narrowed the field to 15 finalists after hundreds of hours of due diligence, including site visits and face-to-face interviews. The list of finalists, which includes companies from Medford, Bend, and Madras, Ore., and Vancouver, Wash., follows this release.
